10 Steps to Fake a Good Nights Rest!

I am proud to announce that I have been a blog contributor for a good friend of mine, Natalia at Ma Nouvelle Mode! Her and I met at a blogging conference a while back and have stayed in touch ever since! She is an amazing wife and mother to 2 beautiful boys. She loves helping busy moms find well deserved time for themselves and has graciously has asked me to help her along the way. Last month I posted about “2 Hair Styles in Under 2 Minutes Each”.

With moms being as busy as they are, I know that most nights they aren’t getting enough sleep. So, this month I wanted to share with you how to “Fake a good nights rest”.

Thinning Your Mascara

Why is it that every time I buy a mascara it seem to last less and less? I feel like they don’t last as long as they use to. It wasn’t until I learned these few simple tricks that I finally started to realize that I was doing it all wrong. Now that I have learned these tricks I just can’t keep them to myself so I thought that I would share them with you now.

Here is a video showing you some of this remarkable tips.

It is very important to change out your mascara every 2 to 3 months. Bacteria can easily slip into your bottle while taking the wand in and out. It will also dry out the mascara faster than it should if it is over used.

This is a great way to thin out your mascara. It will help you get a few more uses out of it:

Just add a few drops of multi-purpose eye solution to your mascara bottle, give it a good shake and wa-la. You will be amazed on how much it helps.

Techniques for Tweezing

Do you dread the days where you have to tweeze your eyebrows? Do you ever wonder if you are doing it right? Before I became a cosmetologist, these were some of the questions that had come to my mind at one point or another. It is very important to learn some of the techniques. Not only will these techniques make it easier for you, but it will be more gentle on your skin and face as well.

Choosing the right tweezers is an important part of tweezing your eyebrows. Here are some of the different kinds of tweezers.

The pointed tip is great for the stubborn hairs, while the angled tip is great for hairs closest to the brow line, and the flat tip is good for in-between the eyebrows.

Looking for Long and Luscious Eyelashes?

Growing up I always wanted long and luscious eyelashes. After a while I just accepted the fact that I didn’t have long eyelashes and I though I never would. I even tried wearing fake eyelashes when I would go to dances or special events because I loved the way they looked. It wasn’t until a few years ago where I learn this trick that I am about to teach you. I know that this tip will help you and after a few tries you will mater this technique and never want to go back to your old ways.
