Corks, Corks and More Corks! {Wedding Update}

For those of you who know me, you know and would agree that I love the little things in life. I like taking something simple and making it beautiful! I believe that if we took more time to appreciate the little things in life we wouldn’t be so stressed out.

Take corks for instance; they may not seem like much but there are so many thing you can do with something so small. Think about it, corks can also be so romantic. The only place you can get a cork is from a wine bottle and wine is a sure sign of romance.

I can't wait to use these corks at my wedding recieption.

My little brother started collecting corks a long time ago. Needless to say that over the years we have accumulated a good amount or corks. So many, in fact, that my mom started using them as decorations around the house. I am using corks as part of my wedding!

Then one day on Pinterest I came across some really good ideas for different uses for corks. More importantly, corks  that I can incorporate into my wedding day! (You can follow me on Pinterest HERE to get my latest pins.) These are some of the pins I found with corks.

After seeing all of these cute ideas, I gathered all of the corks that my mom had been using as decorations around the house.

Brandon helped me sort them…

And Count them.

I love corks and the fact that they can be used for so many things!

We have more than enough to use for our reception. Now we just have to decide what we are going to use them for.

What do you think we should do with them?

Natural Eye Makeup Remover {DIY}

Are you sick and tired of your eye makeup remover burning your eyes? Or maybe it just doesn’t work the way it should and your eyes are raw after wiping them so many times (and probably way to hard).

You are not alone! For years I have been struggling to find the right eye makeup remover for me. I don’t know how many different products I have tried. Out of all of them there was only one that stood out from all of the rest and that was coconut oil!

Coconut Oil Makes The Best Eye Makeup Remover! It's Natural, Safe And Effective

I know what you are probably thinking: coconut oil isn’t a eye makeup removal product. Although coconut oil is used in the kitchen there are so many other uses for it and removing makeup is one of them.

Use Coconut Oil to remove your make up

Here is a short video showing you just how easy it is to use coconut oil as an eye makeup remover.

I honestly can’t believe how amazing coconut oil works. It is natural, safe and effective. Once you start using it, I guarantee you won’t ever go back to your old stuff again. How to remove your eye makeup with coconut oil

It is this simple:

1. Start with all of your makeup still on your face.

2. Put coconut oil on your fingers (about a pea size) and close your eyes.

3. Rub the coconut oil on your eyes.

4. Yes it will look you have big black raccoon eyes. lol

5. Grab your wash clothe.

6. Gently wipe off the oil with your clothe.

7. Repeat on other eye.

8. You’re finished!

It doesn’t get much easier than this! It doesn’t make my eyes burn and there are no harsh chemicals! This is definitely a must try, it even gets off waterproof mascara!

Do you like the eye makeup remover that you are currently using? If you get it in your eye does it burn like mind did?
