Pina Colada Smoothie

I couldn’t be happier that the weather is becoming warmer and warmer every day! I love to start my day with a nice and cold smoothie, they’re so refreshing and filling!

I have had people over on a few different accounts and all of them absolutely loved them and they had no idea that it was good for you. With it being filled with fresh fruit and 24 grams of protein it will keep you full all morning long!

Pina Colata Smoothie! The perfect summer breakfast!

Here is a video showing you just how to make a Shaklee 180 Pina Colada Smoothie!

I honestly can’t believe that this taste like the real deal. It is absolutely amazing! 

I could totally go for a Pina Colada Smoothie, its health and yummy!

You will need:

2 scoops of Shaklee 180™ Vanilla Smoothee Mix

8 oz. non fat milk (low-fat soy milk can also be used)

1/2cup fresh or canned pineapple

1/2tsp of coconut extract

Ice (as needed)

Combine all ingredients in blender and blend until creamy.

297 calories, 41g carbohydrates, 24g protein, 3g fat,7g fiber

I am so going to try this Pina Colada Smoothie. Summer here I come!

Green River Float {St Patrick’s Day Treat}

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

I hope you get the chance to sit back and relax a little bit today. I know that I will be enjoying this beautiful day!

I just wanted to share with you one of the treats I like to have on St. Patrick’s Day: A Green River Float! This is one of the only days out of the year that I will have any type of soda. I am not a soda drinker although, I do like it in this.

This recipe is so easy. You will only need 2 things.

A perfect St Patrick's Day Treat, A Green River Float!

The first thing you need is a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

The second thing you are going to need is the Original Green River soda.

Here comes the easy part, pour the soda on to the ice cream!

Green River Float this the easiest thing to make for St Patrick's Day!

I am not kidding, it is that easy! Now you can really sit back, relax and enjoy!

I love have Green River Float for St. Patricks day!Ok, I have to be honest with you, this is a newer tradition for me. This was originally Brandon’s family tradition that I adopted a couple of years ago and now I am sharing it with you! It is just like a Root Beer Float only a Green River Float!

Chocolate Covered Banana Smoothee!

For the past 2 weeks I have had the privilege on being able to get up every morning at 5:30A.M. to go over to my Fiancés house to work out! This has been an amazing experience for the both of us and we are going to be continuing to do so until our wedding. Being that I am not a morning person, I get more excited about my breakfast smoothee I have after I work out then actually working out lol. Well at least for now, maybe that will change later. My fiancé is a total morning person and he is convinced that he is going to convert me. 😉 We will see, maybe I will convert him!

I also like to change things up from day to day. This morning I had what I like to call a Chocolate Covered Banana Shaklee 180 Smoothee. It is the best breakfast for any morning. It fills you up for a good couple of hours and it leaves you feeling satisfied and healthy.

Chocolate Covered Banana Smoothee! The best Breakfast. Thank You Shaklee 180

You will need:

1 Cup Milk

1/2 Banana

1 Scoop of Shaklee Physique Natural Banana (This is an amazing for muscle recovery) 
1 Scoop of Shaklee 180 Energizing Chocolate Smoothee mix. (For an extra chocolaty flavor, add 1/2 teaspoon of cocoa)

Ice (Blend until your favorite consistency)

Cranberry Muffins–A Must Try!

If there is one thing that you just couldn’t go without during the Christmas season, what would it be? Ok, let me narrow that down a bit; If there is on type of treat that you just could not go without, what would it be? I know what mine would be. I wait all year for cranberries to be in season and then I buy a bunch and freeze them for the rest of the year. Who am I kidding? They never make it more than a few weeks in my house. This is a recipe that we have been using for years. It is simple but delicious!

 

The Perfect Chistmas Cranberry Muffin

Here is a short video showing you just how I made these delicious cranberry muffins.

An Easy and Festive Cranberry Muffin

You will need:
1 ¾ Cups All-Purpose Flour
½ Cup Sugar
2 ½ Teaspoons Baking Powder
¾ Teaspoon Salt
1 Beaten Egg
¾ Cup Milk
⅓ Cup Cooking Oil
1 Cup Coarsely Chopped Cranberries

Ingredients for amazing Cranberry muffins.

I cut the cranberries into fourths and they turn our perfect. 

Cut cranberries into 4ths for the best muffins ever!

In a large mixing bowl stir together the dry ingredients. Make a well in the center. Combine egg, milk and oil. Add egg mixture all at once to the flour mixture. Stir just until moistened; batter should be lumpy. Fold in cranberries.

Folding in cranberries to your basic muffin batter

Grease Muffin cups or line with paper baking cups: fill 2/3 full. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 20 minutes or until golden. Remove from pans; serve warm. Makes around 12 muffins.
