Organize Your Facial Brushes

Having worked in the beauty and health industry for over the past 5 years I know how important it is to take care of your supplies and to stay organized. This is a quick, easy and cute way to keep your facial brushes neatly separated.

You will only need 3 things:

1 Cup of Rice

2 Glass Jars

Letter Stickers

Clean the glass jars and apply the letter stickers.

Then, you add a half cup of rice to each jar.

The last thing you need to do is add your brushes and you are done!

I love how simple and chic these look. They add so much character to such a simple way of displaying and organizing.

4 Easy Tips for Packing Your Suitcase

I spent the last week in Las Vegas for our Shaklee Global Conference. I had never been to Vegas before and I am always happy to see new places. I have done a lot of traveling throughout my life and one of the things that make traveling a lot easier is how you pack your suitcase prior to leaving for your trip. My Sun Glasses Holder!

My sister-in-law gave me this square board with all different kinds of ribbons on it. At first I didn’t know what to do with it and it took me a little while to decide. Then, it finally came to me… I will use it as a sun glasses holder! My sisters and I have quite a few sun glasses and I know they will fit on here perfectly with the ribbons holding them in place. I thought of a few ways to display them on here and I wanted to ask you what you thought looked the best.

Here is the first way. All of the sun glasses are neatly in two rows.

I can have them in three straight lines.

Last but not least way is having the sun glasses scattered randomly throughout the board.

What do you think of this idea?

Also I am sorry I haven’t posted in a while, I have had so many things going on and I just didn’t seem to have the time to fit in writing all of my posts. How To: Organize Your Bobby Pins

I get a lot of questions about how I organize all of my beauty supplies. Over the past 5 years of doing hair and working at a number of salons I have seen things organized and displayed in every way imaginable. What I have done is taken all of those ideas and found the best and most efficient way to store and organize all of these products. Today I wanted to share with you one of the ways I like to store my bobby pins.

The first thing I did was saved all of my old Tic Tac containers.Then I remove the sticker. If it doesn’t come off, spray with Basic H2 degreaser and it will come right off.Last but not least, I separated my bobby pins by color and filled the containers.

One of my favorite thing about the Tic Tac container is that you can easily throw it into your purse without a big mess! It is simple and easy! Like I said before, there are so many different ways to store your bobby pins. This is just one way that has been working for me.
