A Side Messy Bun in Less Than 2 Minutes

I showed you last week how I used an elastic headband to jazz up my leftover hair (Second Day Hair). This week I wanted to share with you another 2 minute style.

This is a side messy bun with with bangs that really open up your face. I love how easy and fun this looks. Plus, it makes you looks like you spent so much time on your hair and you really just spent 2 minutes.

The Easiest 2 minute Messy Bun!

Here is a short video showing you just how I accomplished this style. You will be amazed at how easy and quick it is.

A messy bun is perfect for so many different occasions including your every day look. I don’t usually just pull my hair back into a basic pony tail which forces me to come up with other quick styles.

I am going to try this messy bun! It looks so easy!

Check out some of my other 2 minute styles:

Style Your Hair Using an Elastic Headband in Under 2 Minutes!

Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend, I know that I did! I don’t know about you but Mondays are always a little harder for me to get back in the swing of things. I am not much of a morning person and for some reason Mondays are always the hardest.

Monday’s are also my lazy days, especially when it comes to my hair. I have a large amount of two minute hair styles that I have and use almost every Monday! (hehe! Shhhhh, don’t tell anyone)

I want to show you one of my favorite styles to help second day hair look good. {Just so we are all clear, I like to call my second day hair “leftovers”. Brandon laughs every time he hears me call it that. Although that is me and I thought I would share that little fact with you.}

You will only need an elastic headband and some bobby pins.

The Best 2 minute Style! I love it!

This style is very simple and can work with straight or curly hair. Here is a short video showing you just what I do to achieve this style!

The flower headband was the inspiration for this entire outfit. I love the color and the softness of how it looks. It really goes well with the light pink lace top, the cream crocheted flats as well as the dark grey skinnies.

I love this outfit with this hairstyle. {Watch the Hair Tutorial} This is such and Easy but Beautiful Hairstyle I love this top with the flower headband. What a Great Curly Hair Style, Who Knew It Could Be So Easy!

Loose Beach Waves

When it comes to curling hair, there are so many different types of curly hair style you can do. It all depends on what type of curls you are looking for and what hair type you have. You also have to think about the length of your hair and decide if it will work with the curl you want to achieve. Not to mention what size curling iron you will need to achieve which curl.

I have a number of posts coming that will show you just how to answer all of those questions.

Although for today I am going to be showing you another type of curl that I absolutely love! This style is great for medium to long hair. It gives a very soft, more natural look. I love this look for everyday but I guarantee when you put on a little black dress you will blow people away.

Here is a short video showing you just how to create these beautiful waves!

Sock Bun

When I first saw the sock bun, I must say that I wasn’t that impressed. I didn’t know what the big deal was. To me, it just looked like a big bun on top of your head. Then,, after I learned how to achieve a good sock bun I can see now that it is still a big bun on the top of your head, lol. Although It is very cute and comfortable. You can make it look like a perfect ballerina bun or you can do the opposite and have a more controlled messy look.

With my hair being curly I went with a more messy look today but don’t worry, you can still get the same or a similar look with straight hair.
