3 Ways to Add a Pop of Color to Your Outfit {My Style}

Winter is getting close! I can’t believe how fast the time is flying by. In just 4 weeks it will be Christmas.

Last week I showed you a little bit of my fall fashion and the wonderful colors of fall. Well… with the weather getting colder I still like adding a punch of color to my winter wardrobe. Today I am wearing teal with grey. I love wearing neutral colors and adding a pop of another color. It is a fun and easy way to change up an outfit.

There are 3 colors I have a lot of in my closet and they would be black, white and grey.  They all mix and match perfectly together and they also go well with almost every color of the rainbow. That way when I am shopping I can buy the nicer quality clothes in neutrals and the fun less expensive close as my pops of color.
I love Grey and Teal together!
For an example, jewelry and undershirts are a perfect way to add a pop of color to your outfit.

Adding a scarf is another fun way to change up your look!

 This is such a cute scarf with this grey coat

When you put the 3 things together it is a great combination without over wear the accent color.

Teal and grey are so cute together

Coordinating the your jacket and boots together is a great way to pull the whole outfit together!

These are such cute grey boots. I love all of the buckels

I love being able to wear my boots again. I also love adding leg warmers to an outfit to add color, keep you warm or tie an outfit together.

Does it get cold where you are at? Do you need to wear warmer winter clothes like I do? If so, what is your favorite piece to wear?

1 Dress, 2 Different Ways of Wearing It! {My Style}

You might remember this grey dress from one of my Chicago outfits that I wore this past summer. I usually try to wear my clothes in many different ways depending on the season. It is amazing how you can completely changed the look of the outfit with changing a few minor things.

Since it is cooler out I wanted to show you what I did different: For this outfit I added black tights, black leather shoes, a fake black leather jacket with a grey handbag.

Grey Dress and a leather coat I love this outfit. Grey, Black and Leather Black Leather Heels... Love This is sucha classy yet fun outfit

I don’t know if any of you know this, but since our wedding Brandon and I have been living at his mom’s house because our new house actually flooded the day we bought it. Since we are in the middle of fixing everything up, I don’t have my usually wardrobe because a lot of it is still boxed away.

Repeating  outfits and changing up how they look have been a necessity around here.  Although it is hard to imagine, I am beginning to like living a little more simple. It is amazing how much faster I get ready in the morning when I only have a few things to choose from.

Now I must ask, what do you like about the way I changed up this grey dress? Have you ever felt like completely changing a statement peace in your wardrobe?

Coordination Is Key!

One of the most important things to remember when picking out your clothes is making sure that they coordinate. No matter what colors you choose to wear, you will need to make sure that everything matches.  To really make things fun you can even add a pop of color!

One of my favorite things about clothes is being able to show your true style! I truly believe that you can tell a lot about one’s character through what they wear.

Black and grey are my two favorite coordinating colors!
