Chocolate Covered Banana Smoothee!

For the past 2 weeks I have had the privilege on being able to get up every morning at 5:30A.M. to go over to my Fiancés house to work out! This has been an amazing experience for the both of us and we are going to be continuing to do so until our wedding. Being that I am not a morning person, I get more excited about my breakfast smoothee I have after I work out then actually working out lol. Well at least for now, maybe that will change later. My fiancé is a total morning person and he is convinced that he is going to convert me. 😉 We will see, maybe I will convert him!

I also like to change things up from day to day. This morning I had what I like to call a Chocolate Covered Banana Shaklee 180 Smoothee. It is the best breakfast for any morning. It fills you up for a good couple of hours and it leaves you feeling satisfied and healthy.

You will need:

1 Cup Milk

1/2 Banana

Ice (Blend until your favorite consistency)

My Weight-loss Journey (Using Shaklee 180)

A huge part of losing weight is believing you can do it and realizing it isn’t going to happen overnight. But when you lose the right kind of weight and learn how to keep it off, you can change your life forever!

Some of you may or may not know this about me, but I have struggled with my weight for quite some time. At the age of 14 I got up to a size 12 and I stayed there until I was 19. Then in fall of 2008 I spent 4 months in Germany as a volunteer helping out an religious order of retired sisters. Little did I know that I would come back home 20 pounds heavier than when I left. I went from a size 12 to a size 16! My clothes didn’t fit any more and I knew I didn’t want to buy all new clothes! Something needed to change and It needed to change fast.

After a year of not being able to lose the weight and after trying so many different kinds of diets, none of them seem to work.  I guess you can say I gave up on trying to lose the weight all together. I found that it was easier to put on weight than it was to take it off.  I had convinced myself and everyone around me that I was comfortable with who I was and how I looked. But what I really needed was to do a complete 180 with my life.

I felt very sluggish and unable to show my true potential. Everything I did took me twice as long as it should have and that was just to get the bare minimum done. I would want to sleep in late, go to bed early and nap almost daily! I had no energy to do anything and no motivation to change on my own.

Peanut Butter Protein Balls

I don’t know about all of you, but I always feel like I am on the go.  With a schedule like mine, I get to eat in between clients and at odd hours of the day.  I usually live strictly by the book, my calendar that is. If i didn’t pencil it in, then I don’t have time for it.  058

These peanut butter protein balls are just the thing for me, they are quick, easy & delicious.  It is easy for me to pop them in my mouth and just enough to fill my belly with all the extra protein.

All you need is:

1/4 cup of honey or (2T honey and 2T milk)

1/4 cup Peanut Butter

1/4 cup Energizing Soy Protein

1/2 cup Oat Meal

1/4  cup Rice Crispys

Mix the peanut butter and honey together in a pot on medium heat until melted.  Add remaining dry products into the pot and stir until blended. Remove from heat and use a cookie scoop to scoop onto a plate or tray.

059Since I work from home I can easily have a snack without eating too much. I love knowing that I am eating something that is good for me.

Chocolate Frape Smoothie

There is not a better way to wake up in the morning then to a home made Chocolate Chinch Frape. Filled with a richness of the chocolate, the delicious coffee taste and 24 grams of protein you can’t find a better or faster breakfast! I know that you are going too just love this as much as I do!

All you need is:
6 Large Frozen Coffee Cubes
1 Cup Milk
1 t Coco
2 Scoops of Cafe Latte Cinch Protein
1/2 t Vanilla
2 Scoops of Stevia

Blend everything together in a blender for at least 1 minutes to make sure it is fully blended!

Every week we take our left over coffee and freeze it in ice cube trays. It is the most amazing invention ever for 2 reasons. 1st you aren’t wasting any coffee and 2nd it makes your drinks thick frothy and delicious! My personal favorite is blended with Cafe Latte Cinch!
