Tea For Two!

I don’t know where you are from or what the weather is like where you live but all I know is it is COLD here in Chicago! With the snow up to our ankles and the wind chill below 0 it is a great day to stay inside, bundled up with a warm cup of tea!

I have to admit that I am kind of obsessed with tea, all kinds, warm or cold. Although at night I love having a warm cup of tea before I go to bed. It is so soothing and warmth of the tea running down my throat heats up my whole body.

What can be better than having a cup of tea? Having it with someone else! Tea for two is so much better than having it alone. I guess I am blessed that I have gotten everyone close to me hooked on tea as well 😉 My mother-in-law-to-be gave me this tea pot for Christmas and I use it almost daily.

Tea For Two with a beauty pink tea pot and herbal tea

It is perfect for natural herb teas and is perfect if your tea to have a little steep time!

Having tea in a cute pink tea pot makes the herbal tea taste better.

The tea sits right indie the pot for as long as you need it too while still keeping it warm.

I love using real herb teas, the flavor is amazing the steep makes it a little stronger.

1 teaspoon expands into a whole lot more than that!

I love that the herbal tea expands after the steep time. It is amazing

You can also get at least 2 pots out of 1 teaspoon.

Herbal Tea not only taste good but it also it expands after the steep time

Serve and enjoy!

I love this pick tea pot and I love teea time!

Are you a tea of coffee drinker? Do you take a few minutes out of your day to sit and have a cut of your favorite drink?

Thanks for following along!

My Newest Inspiration!

Have you ever had a time in your life where something inspired you? Something that made you see something you had never seen before. Or maybe look at something in a different way?

There are so many things that can give someone an inspiration. It can be a book, a picture, a song or even a color and I am excited to share with you my newest inspiration. I just can’t seem to get enough of the color purple! Everything purple catches my eye. Although, I am not noticing the light purple as much as I am the deep, rich, eggplant purple! The main thing I love about an inspiration is that it usually is something that you look at and it automatically puts a smile on your face!

When I look at a deep, rich purple color it makes me think of the darkest color of a beautiful sunset and I can almost feel the warmth of the sun at the end of summer. It immediately lifts my mood helps me to remember the little things in life.

Here are a few pictures to help you understand the richness of the color and just how beautiful it is.

Cucumber Melon Infused Water

I wrote earlier this summer about lemon and mint infused water. Now I want to share with you another one of my personal favorites: Cucumber Melon. It doesn’t get much easier than infused water, it is so refreshing and easy to make.  For those of you who don’t know, I am from the Chicago land area and we hit record high this summer, we had over 50 days in the 90 degree weather. If you have even been to Chicago you know that 90 degrees feels like over 100 degrees with the humidity. Need-less-to-say having a nice ice cold glass of infused water is so very refreshing.
