When it comes to Valentine’s day, Brandon and I would much rather stay home than go out. Don’t get me wrong, we love going out on dates, just not on Valentine’s Day. The restaurants are always packed, usually extremely loud and you have to call ahead, way in advance, to book reservations.
It is so much more relaxing and fun to come up with something to do at home! That way we can go out another time where it will be a lot less busy.
So this year I wanted to come up with fun ideas that Brandon and I will be able to do at home after Baby Johnson arrives! So here they are, 33 date night ideas at home that are cheap and fun!
The first thing that you will need to do is pick out the paper patterns that you want to print your date night ideas on. Get your Free Printable for your Date Night Ideas here!

Once you have printed out your ideas, you will need to cut them on the black lines.
Next you will need to put the glue on the wide wooden sticks, rub the glue all around and place it on the back of the paper strips.
Once the glue has dried, trim off any excess paper and smooth the edges down with a sanding block.
Continue to do the same for the rest of the wooden sticks.
Place them in a jar and give it to the one you love!
Then, when you can’t think of anything to do. You can always go your date night jar and get inspired with a fun date night in.
Personally I feel like this is the gift that keeps on giving! It is It gives Brandon and I the opportunity to have a date night in almost every week of the year! I love my husband so much that I never want to stop dating him. Even if it is a date night in while Baby Johnson is sound asleep.
I am sure there are many more date night in ideas that I have missed. So if you know of any just other great ideas, just let me know in the comments below and I would love to add them to my jar.
