Organizing Your Scarfs on Clothes Hangers!

With the seasons changing and the whether getting colder it is time to bust out the scarfs. Over the past few winters I have built up quite the little collection of scarfs. I use to keep them in a bin in my room until I got sick of them always being wrinkled. I don’t even remember where I got this idea from but I am so glad that I found it. Now that I have started hanging my scarfs up on hangers I will not be going back to putting them in a drawer or a bin ever again.

I love keeping my scarfs color coordinated and where I can see them. I not only feel like they stay more organized but I also wear them more than I use to because I can actually see what I have.

Homemade Hair Bands

Who will agree with me that a women can not seem to get more than a few uses out of her tights before something happens to them? They always seem to snag on something or get a whole in them where they can no longer be used. I thought to myself there has to be something else I can do with these tights besides just throwing them away.

Before I knew it I ended up with an entire bag of ruined tights. I then remembered someone once telling me that you can use them for many different things including hair bands. So I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. I always seem to lose my hair bands and this was free to make my own. Win-Win!

Will someone please tell me that I am not the only person that misplaces small hair accessories? I will either lend them to someone with no intention of getting them back or I just flat out leave them in places they don’t belong and forget where I put them. Either way I find myself always buying more each time I am at the store.

Once you are all done turning your tights into hair bands you are going to need a place to put them all so you won’t lose them like I use too. I like to store mine on a Mason Jar turned upside-down. They fit on there perfect and you will never lose them.

This is a great way to keep your hair or bangs out of your face!

Techniques for Tweezing

Before I became a cosmetologist, these were some of the questions that had come to my mind at one point or another. It is very important to learn some of the techniques. Not only will these techniques make it easier for you, but it will be more gentle on your skin and face as well.

Choosing the right tweezers is an important part of tweezing your eyebrows. Here are some of the different kinds of tweezers.

The pointed tip is great for the stubborn hairs, while the angled tip is great for hairs closest to the brow line, and the flat tip is good for in-between the eyebrows.
