A Cute Way To Display Your Headbands {Mission Organization}

Growing up with 4 sisters has it’s perks. Most of the time we are able to share our clothes, accessories and everything in between.  But growing up in a family of 14 people has not only made me understand the value of the little things in life. I have learned to find the beauty in everything. I love taking something simple and making it look beautiful. Today I am going to show how I took an old oatmeal container and made it into a headband holder in 5 easy steps. If I can do this, anyone can!Store your Headbands on an Old Oatmeal Container at BeautyBlondie.com

Here is a short video showing you just how easy this is!

Mission Organization {Bobbi Pins and Elastic Bands}

There are so many different kinds of hair accessories and most of the time I don’t know where to put them or how to organize them. At one of the beauty stores, where I purchase my supplies, I buy a tin full of Bobbi pins.  Those tins are the perfect size for storing your extra Bobbi pins, hair elastics and so much more. I also love storing my “on the go” Bobbi pins in Tic-Tac container I will share that with you this week.

As you can see here, this is a great way to keep everything neatly separated and organized.

I love the size of these tins although if you can’t buy them then you can use a mint tin, they would work great as well.

I find that this is a perfect size for all of your little accessories. Although I have some other ideas for some of your bigger items like, organizing your headbands, your earing and necklaces.

Style Your Hair Using an Elastic Headband in Under 2 Minutes!

Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend, I know that I did! I don’t know about you but Mondays are always a little harder for me to get back in the swing of things. I am not much of a morning person and for some reason Mondays are always the hardest.

Monday’s are also my lazy days, especially when it comes to my hair. I have a large amount of two minute hair styles that I have and use almost every Monday! (hehe! Shhhhh, don’t tell anyone)

I want to show you one of my favorite styles to help second day hair look good. {Just so we are all clear, I like to call my second day hair “leftovers”. Brandon laughs every time he hears me call it that. Although that is me and I thought I would share that little fact with you.}

You will only need an elastic headband and some bobby pins.

The Best 2 minute Style! I love it!

This style is very simple and can work with straight or curly hair. Here is a short video showing you just what I do to achieve this style!

The flower headband was the inspiration for this entire outfit. I love the color and the softness of how it looks. It really goes well with the light pink lace top, the cream crocheted flats as well as the dark grey skinnies.

I love this outfit with this hairstyle. {Watch the Hair Tutorial} This is such and Easy but Beautiful Hairstyle I love this top with the flower headband.What a Great Curly Hair Style, Who Knew It Could Be So Easy!

Do you think this is a style you would be able to achieve at home?

Thanks for following a long and I am looking forward to this nice week ahead of us!

Where Has Your Purse Been?

Have you ever thought about where you place your purse when you go out? Have you ever placed it on the floor at a restaurant during dinner? Do you know what could be on the floor under that table?

What if the person before you had to use the restrooms? Their shoes walked all over that disgusting bathroom floor and walked right back to their table and placed their shoes right where you had set your purse. Pretty gross isn’t it?

I found these awesome purse holders that you can keep with you. This way, you will have somewhere to hang your purse when you need to. I can’t tell you how many times this has come in handy for me. I am never going to leave home without one of these again.

I am never leaving the house without one of these ever again.

The brand that I have is called Purse Mate. These are just cheap ones from the dollar store, although I have seen some really nice ones at a few other stores as well.

I love these things for hanging your purse on the table! This is the coolest invention ever! This is one of the greatest ideas. I love these coach purses and I am not going to put it on the floor

One last thing to think about: Where does your purse go after you leave the restaurant? Maybe you go home and set it on the table where you eat.  Who knows what was on the bathroom floor of that restaurant?

After thinking about a few of the possibilities of what could end up on the bottom of your purse, now would be a great time to consider using a purse holder. It will keep your purse off the floor and away from the germs.

Have you ever thought about where your purse has been?
