How To: Organize Your Bobby Pins

I get a lot of questions about how I organize all of my beauty supplies.  Over the past 5 years of doing hair and working at a number of salons I have seen things organized and displayed in every way imaginable. What I have done is taken all of those ideas and found the best and most efficient way to store and organize all of these products. Today I wanted to share with you one of the ways I like to store my bobby pins.

Organize your bobby pins in a tic tac container The first thing I did was saved all of my old Tic Tac containers.Tic Toc Containers Used For Organizing At BeautyBlondie.comThen I remove the sticker. If it doesn’t come off, spray with Basic H2 degreaser and it will come right off.Cleaning Tic Tac Case With Shaklee Basic HLast but not least, I separated my bobby pins by color and filled the containers.    Storing Bobby Pins in a Tic Tac Container at BeautyBlondie.com

One of my favorite thing about the Tic Tac container is that you can easily throw it into your purse without a big mess! It is simple and easy!  Like I said before, there are so many different ways to store your bobby pins. This is just one way that has been working for me.
I am always looking for new ideas and I just have to ask, how do you store your bobby pins?

Peanut Butter Protein Balls

I don’t know about all of you, but I always feel like I am on the go.  With a schedule like mine, I get to eat in between clients and at odd hours of the day.  I usually live strictly by the book, my calendar that is. If i didn’t pencil it in, then I don’t have time for it.  058

These peanut butter protein balls are just the thing for me, they are quick, easy & delicious.  It is easy for me to pop them in my mouth and just enough to fill my belly with all the extra protein.

Mix the peanut butter and honey together in a pot on medium heat until melted.  Add remaining dry products into the pot and stir until blended. Remove from heat and use a cookie scoop to scoop onto a plate or tray.

How To Cut Up Pineapple Without the Mess!

I believe that Pineapple is one of God’s greatest sweets. I just love the taste of it’s delicious juice. This week I was shopping at the grocery store only to find that pineapple was on sale for $0.99.  I love pineapple so naturally I couldn’t pass it up!  If you know my family you know that I can’t just buy one pineapple so I bought them all lol!

Here is a short video showing you just how I cut up all of these pineapples! I hope you enjoy!

There are a couple of things that I have made using these pineapples.039
First I cut the top off the pineapple.040
Next I use our handy dandy pineapple cutter  041042
Then you pull the pineapple out!

I then put a Stainless Steal cooling racks on a jelly role pan. The greatest invention, the pineapple cutter!
Cut one side of the pineapple!063
Place the pineapple on the cooling rack. 065
Pre-heat your oven to the lowest temperature it goes to, mine goes all the way down to 170. Also I put a wooden spoon in the door to keep the over propped open while dehydrating. 074 It will take several hours to dehydrate the the pineapple and some might finish before the others, just keep checking them.075 I also cut up some of the other pineapples into smaller pieces so I could freeze.066
I put the pineapple in a freezer container and put it in the freezer.072
Now that you know what I like to do with my pineapples, I would love to know what you do with yours?

Do you have a favorite recipe you would like to share or a post that you have.  I would love to see what it is a give it a try myself.

Was this video helpful? Would you like to see more? You are the reason I love doing what I do so please let me know if there is anything I can help you with.

Thanks for reading.
