Pale Pink Dress

I can’t believe that this weekend has come and gone so quickly. For those of you who don’t know, I had attended the Blogher conference in Chicago! It was nice to be so close to home and to have such great roomies… don’t worry more info to come!

I knew two out of my three roommates and the third ended up being a beauty blogger at the Freckled-Fox.com (Emily Meyers). She is such a doll and we immediately became good friends. She even took all of my outfit pictures this weekend, so all of the credit goes to her.

Here is  one of the outfits I wore at the Blogher conference. It is so fun to look the part in a big city and still keep it feminine with a pretty pale pink dress.

I love this pale pink dress in a big city, it is like small town girl meets the big cityThis are such cute white heals. I love this pale pink dress in a big city, it is so cute!

It isn’t just about the dress. It is also about the accessories. I love dressing up (or down) and outfit with different accessories.

I love the accessories with this light pick dress, the simple studs and a bold necklaceI love the accessories with this pale pick dress, the simple studs and a bold necklace

Are you anything like me and like to accessories your outfits with jewelry?

Do you love getting all dresses up while you are out of hanging out with your friends?

A Cute Way To Display Your Headbands {Mission Organization}

Growing up with 4 sisters has it’s perks. Most of the time we are able to share our clothes, accessories and everything in between.  But growing up in a family of 14 people has not only made me understand the value of the little things in life. I have learned to find the beauty in everything. I love taking something simple and making it look beautiful. Today I am going to show how I took an old oatmeal container and made it into a headband holder in 5 easy steps. If I can do this, anyone can!Store your Headbands on an Old Oatmeal Container at BeautyBlondie.com

Here is a short video showing you just how easy this is!

Mission Organization {Bobbi Pins and Elastic Bands}

There are so many different kinds of hair accessories and most of the time I don’t know where to put them or how to organize them. At one of the beauty stores, where I purchase my supplies, I buy a tin full of Bobbi pins.  Those tins are the perfect size for storing your extra Bobbi pins, hair elastics and so much more. I also love storing my “on the go” Bobbi pins in Tic-Tac container I will share that with you this week.

As you can see here, this is a great way to keep everything neatly separated and organized.

I love the size of these tins although if you can’t buy them then you can use a mint tin, they would work great as well.

I find that this is a perfect size for all of your little accessories. Although I have some other ideas for some of your bigger items like, organizing your headbands, your earing and necklaces.
