An Unexpected Surprise {Wedding Update}

I can’t believe how fast the time flies by. I will be honest, I didn’t have a post for all of you today.

Brandon and I have been working so hard to get ready for our wedding but most importantly for our life long marriage. So many people get so focused on the preparations for the wedding and reception that they forget some of the major preparations for the rest of your lives together.

This past week Brandon and I have been taking a Marriage Prep Course, that our Church offers, and it has been the best thing we could have done for our future life together. We want to make sure that we have a Healthy, Happy, Holy and Life Long Marriage. I will be sharing more about that as we get closer to the wedding.

As for today, like I said, I didn’t have a post for all of you until Brandon surprised me with these beautiful flowers.  He always knows just what to do to bring a smile to my face.

Brandon gave me Yellow and Orange Flowers

I think that so many of us can relate that we all can easily get caught up in the busyness of life that we often forget to take the time to appreciate the little things in life.

Brandon really knows how to pick out great flowers

There are so many things you can appreciate from a simple flower. They can always bring a smile to your face and add a sweet aroma to a room.

Orange and Yellow FlowersI love the Flowers Brandon Gave me

Throughout all of the busyness in life, make sure you take time to enjoy the little things around you.

I want to thank Brandon for always being there for me when I need him the most and always knowing just want to do to bring a smile to my face! Thank you for my unexpected surprise, you knew I needed it.

Have you ever had a unexpected surprise that put a smile on your face just when you needed it the most?

  1. Sounds like you have found a special guy who has the best interests of your heart in mind. I’ve been married 35 years and I remember a special day when my husband gave me a gift because he had studied me and knew what I needed (perhaps with a whisper or two from God.) We had two small children and had relocated to AZ from CA. I was lonely for my family. I came home from an activity with the children and found an airplane ticket for the next day so I could visit for a few days. He took time off work to stay with our children. I felt so loved.

  2. Oh My Gosh… What an amazing guy you have, no wonder you have kept a close eye on him for 35 years! 😉 You truly are an inspiration to a young couple like us, it is so good to see such love for so long! Thanks for sharing!
